Shayne Messing is excited to be working for Moss & Tapia Law, LLC as a law clerk. Shayne is currently a 2L at New York Law School where she focuses her studies on real estate law, specifically landlord-tenant litigation. Last summer Shayne interned for the New York City Housing Authority in their Landlord-Tenant Division as a housing litigation intern and she is currently an advocate in New York Law School's Housing Rights Clinic. Shayne is a member of the Dean's Leadership Council, an affiliate of the NYLS Center for Real Estate Studies, a member of the Trial Competition Team, and on the executive board of the Jewish Law Students Association. She is looking forward to honing her litigation skills and gaining more experience in the landlord-tenant field.
Hannah Goodwin, an associate attorney at our law firm, is currently awaiting bar admission to N.Y. state after passing the July 2021 N.Y. bar examination. Hannah is excited to be beginning her career as an attorney with Moss and Tapia Law and looks forward to gaining valuable experience in landlord-tenant and real estate law.
Originally from North Carolina, Hannah Goodwin graduated summa cum laude from Western Carolina University in 2018. Hannah earned her law degree, May 2021, from Penn State Law. During her time at Penn State, Hannah served as an Associate Editor her 2L year and as an Executive Board Member her 3L year, on Arbitration Law Review. Hannah's article “The Role of Arbitration in Securing an Israeli-Egyptian Energy Hub” was published in Volume 12 of the journal, in 2020.
