According to CHIP's update yesterday, the Biden administration has released a new eviction moratorium, which will be effective through October 3, 2021. This moratorium is said to be a modified version of what we have seen issued by the CDC. This will only apply to specific counties where the number of cases are spiking again. This is supposed to cover almost 90% of renters in the US. This is all due to the democratic party, but Biden's extension of two months is in the hope that the $40 billion for rent relief is distributed.
